Our airline tickets have been secured, car rented, and a couple of lodging reservations made (other than the first and last night and the 5 nights on the self-guided walking tour, we are playing this part by ear). Kim's been working hard all summer so he's in good shape. I, on the other hand, am not in fighting order, so I've started a walking, step climbing program so he doesn't leave me in the dust. The green dashed lines on the map indicate the walking trail on the Catalonia Coast. It's about 40 miles. We have one more day hike planned (Ruta del Cares, Picos de Europa) which should take about 4-5 hours (4 for Kim, 5 for me 😂). The rest of the walking will be impromptu 🚶.
This world is not my home, I'm just passing through. "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body." Philippians 3:20

5 Weeks to Blast Off
In five weeks we will arrive in Spain for another hiking/driving/eating adventure. The first several days of the trip will include a 5-day walk in Catalonia (Northeast coast). I've uploaded a map with stars highlighting points of interest for the two week trip. I'm not sure how many of these we will be able to visit but we'll keep you posted as we go.
I've done much research on all the starred locations on the map and have pages of interesting things to see and do. The biggest problem will be picking and choosing the best of the best.
